Chapter Chair Committee Meeting

Keith Kessen and I were pleased to see both familiar and new faces at this month's meeting. Christopher Wiebe made his first appearance as the new chapter chair for Central Colorado, and Steve DiGiovanni represented the Western NC chapter, taking over for Oscar Sorcia. Also in attendance were Ethan Orians, Ted Hake, Bernie Kerns, Tracy Moller, Keith Kessen, and Steve Mickley.

Energy and optimism were at a high due to the recent positive experiences at the Cleveland conference. We discussed goals for the upcoming year and collaborated on the new chapter chair scoreboard, setting up our goals for anticipated meetings for 26-27.

Christopher hopes to take some members of his chapter on a field trip to walk a project under construction at the moment. Hard hats and steel toed boots were discussed, as was the need to have all attendees sign a waiver of responsibility.

Keith and I will continue to reach out to the chapter chairs who did not attend. In particular I'll be touching base with Sam Guidry and Stacey Oliva again so that hopefully they will show up next month.
