11.2 - IBS Exhibiting & Pizza Party

Our NAHB contact has confirmed a complimentary booth at the 2027 IBS.

Hi Steve,

Life is good and will be in Detroit, yes. You?

Your email comes at a good time, I am getting everything ready now to send out applications for booths at IBS 2027.  We would love to have you join us in Vegas.  If you haven’t been since 2025, you will be amazed at the renovation; it’s unrecognizable and looks great!  We are happy to have made it our permanent home.

I’ll try to get materials out here in the next week or so before FLM.

Thanks for reaching out.

Allie

An indoor booth is worth $5550

Of course, a complimentary booth doesn't mean completely free.

The last time we exhibited in Las Vegas (2025), our costs were $3900.

  • Hotel rooms
  • Airfare
  • Background and magazine shipping
  • Booth furnishings
  • Electric
  • Staff expenses

Then, the hotel room cost was $1,900; this year, the same hotel is $ 3,300.

I also anticipate an increase in airfares.

I estimate a commitment of $5300.

Our marketing budget, including exhibiting at IBS, is $ 7,200.

To date, we have spent $1700.

$900 includes hotel room deposits (refundable), and $800 for ARDA magazine printing to distribute at the show.

The pizza party is a separate commitment.

Historically, we host the event at the Office Bar, with Naked City Pizza catering.

In 2025, the event cost $650 for food and beverage.

This year, I'm trying to get permission to host the event by the pool at the Hilton Vacation Club, with Naked City Pizza still catering, but beverages provided by the Hilton.

I still haven't received this year's booth agreement from NAHB. In the meantime, I've attached last year's agreement below, which I don't expect to differ significantly from this year's.
