END-TIMES PREPARATION GAME PLAN: Faithful, Practical & Brotherhood-Focused
BY VCG 7/30/2026
The purpose of this plan is not panic, date-setting, or fear.
It is to remain spiritually watchful, practically responsible, and ready to help others.
“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”— 1 Thessalonians 5:6
1. Spiritual Readiness
Begin each day with prayer, Scripture, and honest self-examination.
Keep the gospel central.
Preparation is not merely storing supplies; it is remaining faithful to Jesus Christ, resisting deception, loving others, and enduring patiently.
Use music for:
- worship
- encouragement
- reflection
- strengthening morale
Build playlists for worship, peace, work, fellowship, and difficult days.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”— Psalm 46:1
2. Grocery and Supply Team
Make grocery shopping deliberate rather than impulsive.
Prioritize:
- Water and shelf-stable food
- Rice, beans, pasta, oats, flour, and canned goods
- Cooking oil, salt, sugar, and seasonings
- Hygiene and cleaning supplies
- Basic medicines and first-aid items
- Batteries, flashlights, chargers, and candles
- Pet supplies where necessary
Rotate supplies so older food is used first. Buy what the household already eats, and avoid wasteful panic-buying.
Keep a written inventory of what is available, what is running low, and what should be purchased next.
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself.”— Proverbs 22:3
3. Cooking and Meal Preparation
Turn cooking into a dependable household skill.
Learn meals that are:
- Affordable
- Nutritious
- Easy to prepare
- Suitable for several people
- Possible with limited electricity or equipment
Prepare food in batches when practical.
Save leftovers safely and reduce waste.
Practice cooking with simple ingredients rather than depending entirely on frozen meals, restaurants, or delivery services.
Assign responsibilities:
- One person prepares ingredients
- One person cooks
- One person sets the eating area
- One person handles cleanup
4. Cable, Technology, and Communication
The cable and technology role becomes the communications department.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up television, internet, routers, and cables
- Keeping phones and power banks charged
- Organizing charging cords and backup batteries
- Downloading important documents for offline use
- Maintaining radios or other emergency communication tools
- Keeping contact information written on paper
Do not depend entirely on cloud storage or internet access.
Keep printed copies of emergency contacts, medical information, addresses, and household plans.
Use news carefully.
Confirm reports before sharing them, and avoid feeding fear through constant sensational coverage.
“The simple believeth every word:
but the prudent man looketh well to his going.”— Proverbs 14:15
5. Dishwashing and Sanitation
Dishwashing is not a minor task.
Cleanliness protects the entire household.
Maintain:
- Clean dishes and cooking tools
- Safe food-preparation surfaces
- Proper trash removal
- Handwashing supplies
- Separate cleaning cloths for different uses
- A backup plan if running water becomes limited
Use water carefully.
When possible, scrape dishes before washing and avoid unnecessary waste.
A disciplined household stays healthier than a disorganized one.
6. Clothes and Laundry
Keep clothing clean, repaired, and ready.
Organize:
- Everyday clothing
- Work clothing
- Warm layers
- Rain protection
- Durable footwear
- Extra socks and underclothes
- Blankets and towels
Learn basic handwashing and air-drying methods in case machines are unavailable.
Repair usable clothing rather than discarding it immediately.
Keep needles, thread, detergent, stain treatment, and clothespins available.
7. Movies and Morale
Movies can provide rest, fellowship, and emotional relief, but entertainment should not consume the entire day.
Choose films that:
- Strengthen courage
- Encourage loyalty and sacrifice
- Teach useful lessons
- Promote thoughtful discussion
- Give the household healthy recreation
Download or own some entertainment that does not require internet access.
Schedule movie nights after essential work is completed.
8. Cooperative Video Games and Brotherhood
Co-op games can strengthen:
- teamwork
- communication
- patience
- problem-solving
and friendship when used in balance.
Use “bromance-style” gaming nights to build brotherhood rather than isolation.
Good team habits include:
- Sharing resources
- Communicating clearly
- Protecting weaker teammates
- Remaining calm under pressure
- Learning from failure
- Completing objectives together
The lesson should carry into real life:
nobody abandons the team when conditions become difficult.
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”
— Ecclesiastes 4:9
9. Weekly Household Rhythm
Daily
- Prayer and Scripture
- Check food and water
- Prepare meals
- Wash dishes
- Keep communication devices charged
- Complete one cleaning or laundry task
- Make time for fellowship and rest
Weekly
- Grocery and supply check
- Meal planning
- Laundry and clothing inspection
- Cable, battery, and device check
- Household cleaning
- One movie or co-op gaming night
- Discussion of needs, concerns, and improvements
Monthly
- Update the inventory
- Rotate stored food
- Test flashlights, radios, and chargers
- Review emergency contacts
- Practice one preparedness skill
- Set aside supplies for helping another person or family
10. Brotherhood Code
We will not prepare through fear.
We will tell the truth.
We will not spread rumors.
We will share responsibilities.
We will protect children, elderly people, and vulnerable neighbors.
We will not hoard while others suffer unnecessarily.
We will correct one another with patience.
We will pray, work, rest, and endure together.
We will remember that practical preparation cannot replace faith in God.
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Let all your things be done with charity.”— 1 Corinthians 16:13–14
Mission Statement
Our goal is to build a faithful, orderly, clean, supplied, peaceful, and united household.
We will prepare wisely without surrendering to fear, use our gifts to serve one another, maintain strong brotherhood, and remain spiritually watchful through whatever lies ahead.
