Something being terrifying does not increase its probability.

12. Scripture correction: the battle for the mind
The thread is not entirely wrong to worry about thought-shaping. Scripture repeatedly treats thought, teaching, deception, persuasion and spiritual discernment seriously.
Paul writes:
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5
But notice the biblical response.
It is not:
“Technology has become omnipotent, therefore the human mind is helpless.”

- The Burden-of-Proof Ladder. Show the difference between “possible,” “plausible,” “supported,” “probable,” and “demonstrated.” Many thread claims never rise above possible.
